10th-12th classes will resume in Haryana from tomorrow

The Haryana government has decided to reopen the schools closed due to Corona epidemic. Schools are being opened in the state for students of class 10 or 12th with board exams scheduled in 2021 from Monday, 14 December. With this, schools for classes 9th and 11th will re-open from December 21. However, it will be mandatory to show the Corona Negative Investigation Report up to 72 hours before admission to the school.

As per the guidelines, students of class 10 and class 12 will be allowed to go for three hours daily between 10 am and 01 am in both government and private schools. The guideline states that the general health of the students should be fine and that they do not have any symptoms like corona virus. According to a statement from the Directorate of School Education, the temperature of students, teachers and non-teaching staff will be checked daily. People with fever, colds or coughs will not be allowed to enter.

Complying with the Kovid protocol is mandatory: According to the guidelines, students must also obtain written consent from their parents to come to school. The order states that it will be mandatory by the school management to follow all protocols related to COVID-19. It is to be noted that the Union Home Ministry and Health Ministry had already given permission to the States and Union Territories to take a decision regarding reopening of educational institutions. After which some states have opened schools and colleges, but many have not yet reopened.

Many students were found infected in Haryana:

Explain that amid the increase in Corona infection cases, the Haryana government had last month ordered the closure of all schools, which had previously reopened for students of classes 9 to 12. More than 150 school students from three districts of Haryana, Rewari, Jind and Jhajjar, tested positive for the corona virus last month, after which all schools were closed until further orders.
